.NET Developer
for our New York branch

DUTIES: Support existing and develop new functionality for our e-commerce website. Maintenance and support of internal applications that manage the web site. Develop software in accordance with agreed upon schedules and established best practices. In depth knowledge of: .NET Framework Java Script, AJAX, HTML/CSS, SQL Server SDLC, and more. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar field. Minimum 2 years of web development experience.

Part Time Tech Support
for our South Carolina branch

DUTIES: Use your years of machining experience to help machinists across the country find the right tool, optimize their running conditions, and solve machining problems. Join Team Travers as a phone-based metalworking tech support consultant! Answer questions by phone from customers and employees regarding technical aspects of the metalworking products we sell. Provide technical support and advise to Travers sales and customer service team. 15 years or more of hands-on machining and metalworking experience. PART TIME (20-25 hours)

Branch Inside Sales Representative
for our California branch

DUTIES: The primary purpose of this position is to delight both internal and external retail / counter customers and prospects through servicing their needs and supporting the corporate mission and growth goals by identifying new by business opportunities and building customer loyalty. Assist walk-in customers at the tool counter with choosing and buying the best metalworking tools and supplies for their jobs. Make phone calls to existing customers to look for additional needs and sales opportunities. Answer phone calls from customers and handle customers' requests. Requests may include: price quote requests, entering orders into a computer order entry system, looking up and providing order status information, and assisting customers with customer service needs. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication skills. High school with some technical tool training or equivalent experience.

Warehouse Associate
for our South Carolina branch

DUTIES: Will be responsible for various duties associated with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory and replenishment as needed. This position requires associates to walk and stand for several hours at a time. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. Candidates should be efficient and reliable. Inventory Control knowledge preferred. Basic computer knowledge a plus.

Customer Service Representative
for our South Carolina branch

DUTIES: Will process customer sales orders and assist customers with various problems while ensuring the highest level of customer service. Field telephone calls and fulfill customers request. Additionally, will up-sell and focus on customer relationship building. Will need to exercise proper judgment with orders. Multi-tasking. Qualified candidates should be organized, and possess excellent communication and sales skills. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Internet required. Bilingual Spanish and French fluency highly preferred.

NY Field Sales Representative
for our New York branch

DUTIES: Contact a wide variety of businesses within the NY Branch area to initiate or regenerate active, substantial business relationships with Travers Tool Company. Provide excellent, market-share-gaining support for customers in geographic area. Manage any assigned accounts via regular contact to increase revenue and profitability of those accounts. Account management skills required. Excellent customer service and negotiation skills. Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint proficiency. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the trade.

Inside Sales Account Manager
for our South Carolina branch

DUTIES: Outbound calls and email. Establish customer relationships. Identify Travers' products and services to meet customer's needs. Develop account growth plans. Achieve revenue growth targets by expanding business with existing and bring on new accounts. Represent and build awareness of the Travers brand. Minimum 3 yrs. phone or face to face sales experience. Excellence customer service professionalism skills. Strong analytical and thinking skills. Microsoft Office skills. College degree preferred. Industry knowledge a plus.
