Vermont Gage Class ZZ Pin Gage Sets with Plus/Minus-series Plugs for Versatile Measuring. Vermont Gage presents a range of Class ZZ pin gage sets to choose from according to your gauging needs. Each pin gage set consists of a collection of pin gages that are the most economical measuring tools you can have in your arsenal. Moreover, all the metal plugs included in these sets are NIST traceable, and they all come with the Certificate of Accuracy. All plugs coming with each plus or minus series pin gage set are made of 52100 tool steel and are heat-treated to 60 to 62 RC hardness. They all have a 2-inch length and include 50, 55, 125, 190, 240, or 250 pieces, all packed in a compact box. Each pin gage has a finish of 10µ or better. Vermont Gage Class ZZ pin gage sets are the most practical gages for measuring small holes where the most standard calipers fail due to the hole size. Moreover, these sets of plugs are more cost-effective when compared to calipers, and they provide you with great precision and speed. The pin gages can be used to measure the diameters of tiny holes that are drilled/machined and to check locations. They are also beneficial for calculating the distances between holes, the width of slots, and more. You can also utilize these pin gages to set calipers, micrometers, snap gages, etc. These metal plugs included in the Class ZZ pin gage sets work best with GO/NOGO tools in measuring the diameter and depth of a hole quickly. The GO tool is to check the lower limit of a hole's dimensions, while NOGO is for the upper limit. If GO can enter the hole and NOGO cannot, then the hole size is as per the needs of the specific job.
