A Complete Coolant Pump Unit for Effective Machining. The Little Giant flood-type electric pump unit is a complete package that comprises a tank, tubing, an application nozzle, and a motor. This electric pump unit is a coolant pump that can work well with various machining processes. It is a complete VMC-1 cooling unit, and you can utilize this coolant pump unit for a diverse range of use cases, including grinding machines, lathe machines, milling and cutting machines, and so on. Moreover, the pump unit ensures a controlled flow of the coolant fluid to match your purpose and also does not harm the motor part. This coolant unit offers flood-type cooling, which can also be used for temporary corrosion prevention for machine parts and chips. It wets the parts and chips with rust-preventive fluid to give them temporary protection. During wet machining and metalworks, the coolant fluid is supplied at an optimum pressure to cool down the cutting space. It does so by absorbing the heat evolved during the process. It also takes away the unnecessary chips formed by the machining process. The Little Giant machine tool flood-type coolant unit comes in the following dimensions: 9-1/4"H x 6"W x 12"L. The motor provided is with 1/50 motor horsepower. The tank is made of polyethylene plastic, which is immensely durable and oil resistant, and it has a capacity of 1 gallon. The coolant unit uses a centrifugal pump that transports the coolant fluid by converting the rotational kinetic energy, provided by the electric motor, to hydrodynamic energy. This way, the pump ensures an optimal fluid flow. The impeller in the pump accelerates a radial flow of the fluid.
