Various models are available in two-flute design in machine screw size #0 & #1 and H1/H2 thread limits; three-flute design in machine screw sizes #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, and H1/H2/H3 thread limits; four-flute design in machine screw sizes #8, #10 and #12 and H1/H2/H3 thread limits. Various models are also available in fractional sizes ranging from 1/4 inch to 1-1/2 inches and four-flute design. Special six-flute design plug hand taps are available in fractional sizes 1-1/4 inches, 1-3/8 inches, 1-1/2 inches. The square shank is provided to fit well into tap wrenches.
