Solid carbide construction with 10 percent added cobalt makes the tool more wear-resistant at high speeds. These ball-nosed single-end mills are offered with a four-flute design and a round shank. The lower 30-degree helix angle wraps around the tool slowly for machining stability. It makes the tool suitable for machining any 3D contoured shapes into the machining centers, such as dies and molds. The end mill's four flutes allow faster removal of chips while cooling fluids enter easily. The center-cutting design has cutting teeth at the end of the tool, thus fed into the workpiece like a drill bit. The overall tool length come in 4 different sizes of 1-1/2 inches to 3 inches.
