3D machining of die/mold cavities in materials up to 60 Rc. Tested & proven using Makino's Flush/Fine Process. For semi-finishing & finishing flat floors & straight walls.Notes
- Use climb milling for better finish.
- Air or mist coolant on materials greater than 40 HRc.
- Good machines, toolholders & tools programming methods all help in extending tool life.
- The best way to engage into the materials is by helical interpolation or entering from off the part.
- A 15° per side draft angle on all tools 3/16" & smaller blend the cutting diameter to larger shank diameter.
